Baseball Recap: Yosemite Badgers vs. Mariposa County Grizzlies

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Yosemite nor Mariposa County made it on the board until the seventh inning. The Badgers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Grizzlies. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Brady Olson made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2025. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and one stolen base.
