Soccer Recap: Richards Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richards can now relate to. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lisle Lions who were credited with the victory on Friday. The Lisle Lions got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to the Richards Warriors' five.

Richards' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Lisle, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Richards does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lisle, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Chicago Hope Academy on the 29th.
