Softball Recap: Corbett Comes Up Short

Corbett fell victim to Valley Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valiants. The Cardinals have struggled against the Valiants recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Corbett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amani Christensen, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Corbett's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Valley Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

While Corbett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
