Softball Recap: Lamphere's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Lamphere hadn't done well against Cousino recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams walked away with an 11-7 victory over the Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Patriots back in April, they had to take a 9-8 defeat.

Brooke Harrison (2025) spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Faithlynn Donegan (2025), who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Bennett, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Lamphere's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Cousino, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Lamphere will head out to challenge Bishop Foley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Ventures will aim to continue their five-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. Cousino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
