Baseball Recap: Lennox Academy Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Lennox Academy's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost three in a row.

Lennox Academy's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-8. As for Rolling Hills Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.

While Lennox Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
