Football Game Preview: Norton Panthers vs. Cloverleaf Colts

The Norton Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Cloverleaf Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a five-game winning streak alive.

On Friday, Norton beat Streetsboro 23-13. The 23-point effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Cloverleaf strolled past Ravenna with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 23-7.

Norton's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cloverleaf, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Everything came up roses for Norton against Cloverleaf in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 54-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
