Baseball Recap: Fulshear Comes Up Short

Fulshear and Katy squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Fulshear had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 26 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Fulshear saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Wallace, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Fulshear's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Katy, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-2-1.

While Fulshear had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
