Paradise Honors is a perfect 6-0 against Moon Valley since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. Moon Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Paradise Honors, who comes in off a win.
On Monday, Paradise Honors got the win against Shadow Mountain by a conclusive 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Matadors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Paradise Honors walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.
Meanwhile, Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Greenway, falling 3-0.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.
Moon Valley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Paradise Honors, their win bumped their record up to 20-11.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Paradise Honors has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 8.2 aces per game. However, it's not like Moon Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
