Soccer Game Preview: Joliet Catholic vs. Peotone

The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers will square off against the Peotone Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Joliet Catholic will be strutting in after a victory while Peotone will be coming in after a loss.

Joliet Catholic headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Rosary let them put that streak behind them. Joliet Catholic never let Rosary get on the board and left with an 8-0 win on Saturday. Mary Meyer was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Peotone kicked off their season on the road last Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Bradley-Bourbonnais, falling 8-1. Peotone have struggled against Bradley-Bourbonnais recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Joliet Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Peotone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
