Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. Lodi Flames

Lincoln hasn't had much luck against Lodi recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Lincoln will square off against Lodi at 6:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Lincoln is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 12th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to Kimball.

The final score came out to 25-23, 25-16, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Lodi suffered their biggest loss since March 4th on Thursday. They came up short against West, falling 3-0. The Flames have struggled against the Wolfpack recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

While Lodi was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-20.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Lodi, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-6.

Lincoln might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Lodi in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Lincoln avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
