Football Game Recap: Pocahontas vs. Eagle Grove

Pocahontas had a rough outing against Alta/Aurelia last Friday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Pocahontas were gifted an easy victory on Friday as Eagle Grove wound up forfeiting 0-2.

The win bumped Pocahontas' record up to 2-3. Eagle Grove are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Next week Pocahontas take on Ogden at 7:00 PM. Ogden also experienced difficulties finding the end zone in their previous matchup, so look for the defenses to decide this one. Eagle Grove will be staying on the road, facing off against Madrid. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.
