Soccer Game Preview: Rock Hill vs. Prosper

Rock Hill hasn't had much luck against Prosper recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rock Hill Blue Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Prosper Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Rock Hill's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Rock Hill fell victim to Plano West and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of Wolves by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Blue Hawks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 120th, while Wolves are ranked 308th).

Meanwhile, Prosper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plano East. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Eagles couldn't quite close it out.

Rock Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Prosper, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Rock Hill suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Prosper in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Rock Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
