Baseball Recap: Amanda-Clearcreek Comes Up Short

Amanda-Clearcreek suffered their closest loss since April 2nd on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Circleville Tigers by a score of 5-3. The Aces were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Amanda-Clearcreek's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Circleville, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Amanda-Clearcreek and Circleville will both be playing Fairfield Union the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Falcons at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Aces will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
