Baseball Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

Reading lost against Berks Catholic back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Red KNights came up short against the Saints, falling 8-2. The Red KNights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Janser Paredes was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Berks Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

While Reading had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
