Baseball Recap: Rosemead Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Rosemead was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against the South El Monte Eagles, falling 17-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Rosemead saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Ruiz, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Rosemead's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for South El Monte, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rosemead is set to take on their familiar foe Gabrielino at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South El Monte will square off against rival Arroyo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
