Basketball Game Preview: Columbus North Bull Dogs vs. Bloomington North Cougars

Columbus North is 2-8 against Bloomington North since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Columbus North Bull Dogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bloomington North Cougars at 7:30 p.m. Columbus North will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

On Monday, Columbus North didn't have too much trouble with Covenant Christian as they won 64-49. Given the Bull Dogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Warriors are ranked 182nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Bloomington North came up short against Terre Haute North Vigo on Friday and fell 65-57. The defeat continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Columbus North will have to keep a close watch on Levi Lindeman and Caleb Fishel, a pair of players who had a big impact on Bloomington North's prior game. Lindeman went 9-for-10 on his way to 20 points, while Fishel went 5-for-12 to rack up 15 points. Thanks to that strong game, Lindeman now owns an excellent 46.3% shooting accuracy.

Columbus North pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Bloomington North, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
