Basketball Recap: White House Takes a Loss

White House was the 44-37 winner over Macon County when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The White House Blue Devils took a blow against the Macon County Tigers on Tuesday, falling 63-35. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 299th, while the Tigers are ranked 148th).

White House has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Macon County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White House will take on Pearl-Cohn at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Macon County has already played their next game (against Greenbrier), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
