Basketball Game Preview: Northside L Lions vs. Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Northside L Lions will jump right back in to play the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles at 3:50 p.m. on Friday. Northside L is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.9 points per game this season.

Northside L was handed a 24-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-56 win over Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since March 15, 2024.

Northside L's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but ETHAN RODECKER led the charge by putting up 16 points. Another player making a difference was WILL SLAGLE, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Kokomo HomeSchool came up short against Benton HomeSchool on Friday and fell 50-39. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kokomo HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 26-8. As for Northside L, they now have a winning record of 18-17-1.

Northside L came up short against Kokomo HomeSchool when the teams last played last Thursday, falling 66-55. Can Northside L avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
