Soccer Recap: Dracut Takes a Loss

Dracut and Chelmsford pushed the score to 8-1 the last time they played Chelmsford, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Middies fell just short of the Lions by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Dracut in their meetings with Chelmsford: they've now lost six in a row.

Dracut now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Chelmsford, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dracut will host Mystic Valley Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chelmsford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beverly at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Beverly will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Chelmsford surely won't give up without a fight.
