Basketball Recap: Macon County Beats Chattahoochee County for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Macon County had won four straight games and Joshua Fulks did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Macon County Bulldogs came out on top against the Chattahoochee County Panthers by a score of 73-61 thanks in part to Fulks, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Solomon, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played.

Macon County's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Chattahoochee County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Macon County will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Schley County at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Chattahoochee County and Lee-Scott Academy will round out the year against one another at at 10:15 a.m. on Friday. Lee-Scott Academy will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Chattahoochee County surely won't give up without a fight.
