Volleyball Recap: Wagner's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Wagner entered their tilt with Tripp-Delmont/Armour on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Nighthawks. The Red Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Nighthawks, too.

While Wagner might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Tripp-Delmont/Armour scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 23-25, 25-21.

Ravyn Medricky paced Wagner's offense, picking up 24 kills. Medricky got some help from Braxton Nedved and her 43 assists. Finally, Medricky was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Wagner's win bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Wagner and Tripp-Delmont/Armour will both be playing Scotland the next time they take the court. The Red Raiders will host the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Nighthawks will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th.
