Baseball Recap: Glendale Takes a Loss

Riverside Prep hit Glendale with a eight-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Nitros came up short against the Silver Knights, falling 13-3.

Glendale saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Tapia, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Glendale has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 games. That's still a better percentage than their 6-20 record this season. As for Riverside Prep, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-7.

Glendale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 7-2 loss against St. Genevieve on the 6th. As for Riverside Prep, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Tahquitz on the 7th.
