Football Recap: Wellston Takes a Loss

Wellston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Athens Bulldogs, falling 48-7. The Golden Rockets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Wellston's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Athens, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
