Soccer Recap: South Spencer vs. Evansville Day
South Spencer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell just short of the Evansville Day Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2016.
South Spencer's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Evansville Day, the win also got them back to even at 4-4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Spencer will square off against Wood Memorial at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evansville Day, they will head out to challenge Barr-Reeve at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
