Football Recap: Poughkeepsie Comes Up Short

Poughkeepsie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Lakeland Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 last Thursday.

Poughkeepsie's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lakeland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Poughkeepsie nor Lakeland have any future games scheduled.
