South Florence piles up the points against Cheraw

The South Florence Bruins can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent game on Monday. They claimed a resounding 58-29 win over Cheraw on the road. That looming 58-29 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for South Florence yet this season.

It was another big night for Jada Montgomery, who scored 18 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Allyson watson, who scored 12 points along with three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Cheraw lost, one person who can't be blamed is My'Shauna Worrell. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with five rebounds and four blocks. Worrell hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games.

The victory makes it two in a row for South Florence and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Cheraw, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Florence will take on North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Myrtle Beach is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. Cheraw won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Andrew Jackson will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
