            Baseball Recap: Blind Brook Trojans vs. Tuckahoe Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            Blind Brook had lost three straight on the road, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 2-4 to make it four. They came up short against  the Tuckahoe Tigers, falling  14-7. The Trojans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in May of 2023.

  Elliott Zwicker was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base. He is becoming a predictor of Blind Brook's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 2-1 (and 0-3 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was  Daniel Glantz, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI.
As for Tuckahoe,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 5-2. That's two games straight that they have won by  exactly seven  runs.
 On Tuckahoe's side,  Vincent Justino was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.  Ben Silvestri was another key player,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Blind Brook has already played their next matchup,  an  11-1  defeat against Scarsdale on the 23rd. Hopefully Tuckahoe paid attention to the Trojans'  game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Trojans  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
