Volleyball Recap: Gracie Aulenbacher and Makayla Harbison Secure Win for Hononegah

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hononegah had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Harlem Huskies by a score of 2-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win two weeks ago.

Hononegah was led to victory by Makayla Harbison and Gracie Aulenbacher. Harbison had five digs and three aces, while Aulenbacher had 15 digs and two assists. That's the most digs Aulenbacher has posted over her last seven matches.

The victory made it two in a row for Hononegah and bumps their season record up to 23-13. As for Harlem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-25.

Hononegah has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Huntley on the 30th. Harlem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
