Baseball Recap: Bunnell Takes a Loss

Bunnell fell victim to Bethel and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 16-0 to the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bunnell's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bethel, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bunnell will face off against rival Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bethel is set to challenge their familiar foe Brookfield at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 2.8, the Bobcats 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
