Basketball Game Preview: Coram Deo Academy Warriors vs. Unity Christian Knights

The Coram Deo Academy Warriors just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Unity Christian Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Coram Deo Academy is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Quad City Christian on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Warriors had to suffer through a 58-30 loss at the hands of Quad City Christian. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Cooper Burgmeier, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and five steals. Burgmeier is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Issac Nicol, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, Unity Christian came up short against Morning Star Academy on Thursday and fell 34-27. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Unity Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Coram Deo Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
