Softball Recap: Seneca Comes Up Short

Seneca fell victim to Wauzeka-Steuben and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 2-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Seneca now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Coming up, Seneca is taking a road trip to take on Ithaca at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wauzeka-Steuben, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-3 win against Cashton on the 9th.
