Soccer Game Preview: Charleston Math & Science vs. Timberland

The Charleston Math & Science Riptide will face off against the Timberland Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Timberland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Charleston Math & Science, who comes in off a win.

Timberland will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Charleston Math & Science extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. The Riptide's defense stepped up to hand Bethune-Bowman a 6-0 shutout. Charleston Math & Science might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Timberland's offense. They came up short against Woodland on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

Timberland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Charleston Math & Science, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
