Basketball Recap: The Villages Charter Buffalo vs. Trinity Catholic Celtics
In what's become a running theme this season, The Villages Charter Buffalo gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 70-48 margin over Trinity Catholic. 70 seems to be a good number for The Villages Charter as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Deonte Sesler was nothing short of spectacular: he almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Bill Allen, who scored 11 points.
The Villages Charter is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Trinity Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
