Kadence Compton was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base.
