Soccer Game Preview: North Bay Haven Academy vs. Fernandina Beach

The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers will face off against the Fernandina Beach Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Bay Haven Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Thursday. They never let Florida State University High School onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The result kept the Buccaneers happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 16, 2024.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Avery Boyer, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Fernandina Beach's offense. They lost 4-0 to Bolles last Thursday.

North Bay Haven Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4-2 record this season. As for Fernandina Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7-1.
