Baseball Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-1 to the Pinkston Vikings. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Pinkston, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.

While Roosevelt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
