Bishop England had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the James Island Trojans a 5-0 shutout on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Battling Bishops also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

They hit James Island with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Charlotte Cline (2), Sophia DeMarco (2), and Maggie O'Hara.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop England will take on Lucy Beckham at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for James Island, they will square off against Waccamaw at 6:45 p.m. on February 21st.
