Davis had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Toppenish Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Toppenish now has a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davis will square off against Wenatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pirates' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Toppenish, they will face off against Grandview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
