Volleyball Recap: Raytown Comes Up Short

Raytown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Belton Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Friday.

Raytown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Belton, they now have a winning record of 12-11-2.

Looking ahead, Raytown will be playing in front of their home fans against Raytown South at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bluejays are facing the Cardinals at the right time seeing as the Cardinals are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Belton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 tie against Lincoln College Prep on the 19th.
