Baseball Recap: Southern Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Southern's offense. They lost 13-0 to the St. Henry Crusaders on Saturday.

Southern has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-13 record this season. As for St. Henry, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern will square off against LKY at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Henry, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ryle at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Crusaders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
