On Friday, everything went the Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders's way against the Peabody-Burns Warriors as the Wichita Defenders HomeSchool Defenders made off with a 59-34 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Defenders.

Peabody-Burns' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aiden Hurst, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds, and Jameson Miles, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds.

The victory got Wichita Defenders HomeSchool back to even at 2-2. As for Peabody-Burns, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wichita Defenders HomeSchool will venture away from home to take on Smoky Valley Home Educators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Smoky Valley Home Educators will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Wichita Defenders HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight. As for Peabody-Burns, they will head out to square off against Burrton on Tuesday. Peabody-Burns is facing Burrton at the right time seeing as Burrton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
