Basketball Recap: Roselle Park Comes Up Short on the Road Against Dayton

Roselle Park had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 52-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dayton Bulldogs on Thursday. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Lucas Antonio was the offensive standout of the match as he dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Luke Sherman was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Roselle Park wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-44 loss against Hanover Park on the 21st. As for Dayton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-44 defeat against South Hunterdon on the 21st.
