Volleyball Recap: Higley Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Higley not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Desert Ridge Jaguars as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on April 3rd.

Higley never let Desert Ridge on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-22.

Troy Moser paced Higley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Moser got some help from Kaden Chen and his 18 assists. Moser also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Britton Skousen, racking up two apiece.

Higley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-6-2 record this season. As for Desert Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Higley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Highland on the 23rd. As for Desert Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Skyline on the 24th.
