Plattsburgh has gone 9-1 against Northern Adirondack recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Hornets will face off against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Plattsburgh will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Plattsburgh made easy work of Saranac Lake and carried off a 3-0 win.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-16.
Northern Adirondack hadn't beaten AuSable Valley on the road since October 11, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bobcats have posted against the Patriots since October 11, 2022.
Northern Adirondack walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20, 25-20.
Northern Adirondack's win came from a few key players Plattsburgh will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Braelyn Bilow, who had 11 digs and five aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendel Chapple, who had ten digs, six kills, and one block.
Northern Adirondack was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in four consecutive matches.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Plattsburgh, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Everything went Plattsburgh's way against Northern Adirondack in their previous matchup back in September, as Plattsburgh made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
