Basketball Game Preview: Paris Greyhounds vs. Montgomery County Indians

Paris is 2-8 against Montgomery County since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Paris Greyhounds will head out on the road to take on the Montgomery County Indians at 6:00 p.m. Montgomery County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Paris, who comes in off a win.

Paris took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Bourbon County with a sharp 61-38 victory. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 23 points or more this season.

Montgomery County has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-47 heartbreaker at the hands of Boyd County.

Paris pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Montgomery County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.

Paris was dealt a bruising 60-24 defeat at the hands of Montgomery County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Paris avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
