Football Recap: Carter Comes Up Short

Carter played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Hemet Bulldogs and fell 46-11. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-11.

Raymond Rubio threw for 157 yards and one touchdown. Ethan Skinner was his top target, picking up 47 receiving yards.

Carter's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Hemet, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Carter will square off against Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hemet, they will challenge West Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
