Football Preview: Woodward Academy War Eagles vs. Decatur Bulldogs
The Woodward Academy War Eagles will head out to take on the Decatur Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Woodward Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Dunwoody 49-17 at home last Friday. With that win, the War Eagles brought their scoring average up to 26.9 points per game.
Landon Walker was his usual excellent self, throwing for 356 yards and four touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Josiah Abdullah was another key player, picking up 173 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
