Basketball Recap: Groveton Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Groveton won the last time they faced Lin-Wood and things went their way on Monday too. The Groveton Eagles enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over the Lin-Wood Lumberjacks.

Groveton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.2 points over those games. As for Lin-Wood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Groveton will square off against Lin-Wood at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lin-Wood, they will take on Moultonborough Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
