Durango is 8-1-1 against Montrose since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Demons will head out to face off against the Red Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Durango is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.

Durango had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the four-goal drubbing they dealt Grand Junction on Saturday. The Demons were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Tigers. That looming 4-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Durango yet this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Montrose was forced to settle for a draw. They and Fruita Monument finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

Montrose's goal came courtesy of Taylor Gibson, which was the first she's scored this season.

Montrose's draw gives them a new season record of 4-4-1. As for Durango, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything went Durango's way against Montrose when the teams last played last Saturday, as Durango made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Demons since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
