While Lincoln's win against North Florida Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Lincoln won by a run and slipped past North Florida Christian 5-4. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Gabbi Coulter spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on 12 hits. Those two earned runs gave her a new career-low.

At the plate, Mia Owens was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lanie Woodson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Lincoln's record is now 3-8. As for North Florida Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Coming up, Lincoln will face off against Madison County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison County's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Lincoln's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Florida Christian, they will square off against Aucilla Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
